I agree 100%! In my road to recovery I had to learn about honoring people especially those older than me. When one is addicted to drugs everything revolves around you and what you want. Learning to honor made me realize there was more to life than just me. My advice to any recovering addict is to start with his or her parents, it does a world of good.

I’m looking forward to checking out this blog and learning more about Eddie and what he’s doing. I have a friend who works with the Lakota’s in South Dakota and she will be interested in this, she sees lots of drug/alcohol problems on the reservation.
As always, great info. Thanks!
